It was great to be a part of the AJ Architecture Awards in London last week, where our Old Schoolhouse project was shortlisted in the Community and Faith award category. We didn't win this time, but we were really proud and honoured for our retrofit project in Edinburgh to be recognised at these coveted awards and represented amongst such beautiful work completed over the last two years across the UK. Congratulations to all the other winners on the night, and everyone who was shortlisted.

“The Old Schoolhouse, is special, it puts architecture in the urban realm and at the heart of a community.

The clever plan resolutions, and contextual architectural inspirations ensured that the architectural delivery is respectful, honest, polite and rich.

This project raises the inherent values and pride, that every building at the heart of a community, can deliver by repurposing them.”
