Work is progressing well at the Old Schoolhouse with the majority of the external envelope complete, following the installation of the final precast units last week. The building's form and detailing are now becoming evident. In particular the juxtaposition between the old and new elements, with the composition and key junctions highlighted in the series of photos included below. The remaining windows and doors will be installed early in the New Year which will transform this further.

We have completed an initial options appraisal to extend and alter our client's home in Edinburgh.  The options consider how to improve the existing entrance arrangement and re-plan the living accommodation to create an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space.

We are delighted that the Old Schoolhouse project has now started on site.  A significant occasion for our client and local community that marks the start of the conservation of this special building for future generations.

The project aims to transform the building to provide a contemporary and adaptive facility for the church and community groups to use and enjoy.
